二十世纪九十年代可说是unplugged的时代，十年中乐坛出过的unplugged专辑多如恒河沙数，只可惜难得有让人听了击节叫好的例子。除了92年Eric Clapton那张盘古开天性质的unplugged专辑外，若不是在二十世纪最末一个月出现了这张the Corrs的unplugged唱片，整个九十年代的unplugged热潮几乎就要沦为一场没有结果的游戏。 挟98-99年席卷全球乐坛的惊人之势，the Corrs这支爱尔兰四人兄妹乐团于1999年10月5日在故乡举办了这场规模并不大的unplugged演唱会，但效果奇佳，本唱片就是当时的现场收音。
一般而言，unplugged现场由于没有各种电声乐器的助阵，因而对于人声的拿捏把握相当高，几乎不容一丝一点纰漏，其难度有时更甚于唱几万人的现场。而在这张唱片里，从《Only When I Sleep》Andrea Corr唱出第一个音符开始，直到《Everybody Hurts》她最后一个音符收尾，没有一个可以吹毛求疵的地方，让人心服口服，也不得不承认这两年the Corrs如此之红，实在不是没有道理。
开首两首《Only When I Sleep》和《What Can I Do》是他们上一张大热门专辑《Talk On Corners》的上榜单曲，早已令人听得熟出耳油。在前者的演绎上，the Corrs完全忠实于录音室版本，其精准程度已与录音室版本毫无二致，而后者，Andrea加入了一些现场的概念，别有生趣。《Radio》一曲并未出现在他们前两张唱片之中，相信是全新单曲，秉承the Corrs一贯风格，此曲流畅动听，Andrea的演绎感性激情兼而有之，台下听众不拍红手掌才怪。
曲过三巡，一首爱尔兰民族传统器乐曲登场。这队组合的乐器演奏才能端的了得：Jim的吉他、Sharon的小提琴、Caroline的宝思兰鼓和Andrea的哨子，令得此曲行云流水、峰回路转，台下人生生被这凯尔特音乐醉倒！至此演唱会渐入佳境，the Corrs演唱了多首他们前两张唱片中的作品，并且翻唱了吉他祖师Jimi Hendrix的《Little Wing》以及天籁女歌手Mary Black的《No Frontiers》，首首值回票价。
万没料到，整场演唱会的压轴曲，竟然是the Corrs翻唱R.E.M乐队的经典之作《Everybody Hurts》。遥想当年听这支歌，看它那支意味深长的MTV时，几天都沉浸在歌中无法自拔。如今再听the Corrs用他们独特的方式演绎，前尘旧事全部浮现眼前，一直到唱机停转，忽然发现眼角已有泪痕。
